What is LED Esthetic?

The LED Esthetic® is a latest-generation LED (Light Emitting Diodes) photomodulation device, providing a serious and effective solution to all types of aging and skin disorders. LED Esthetic® is an innovative device that uses latest-generation LEDs. These LEDs emit a high-purity monochromatic cold light with adjustable power. The light waves generated by the panels are rapidly absorbed by the cells, inducing a deep chemical and biological reaction.

The metabolic activation of fibroblasts, in particular, stimulates the synthesis of collagen fibers (skin resistance/firmness/density against fine lines and wrinkles) and elastin (skin elasticity/tonicity against skin slackening). This phenomenon enables genuine dermal-epidermal restructuring that is progressive and long-lasting.

How does it work?

Aesthetic photobiomodulation is an innovative, natural method that uses the colors of the light spectrum. Monochromatic LED light is used to generate biological and chemical changes in skin cells (activation or deactivation). The colors emitted penetrate the tissues to act directly at the heart of our cells, which in turn synthesize more collagen and elastin. This is what we call photobiomodulation. The photobiomodulating role of light on the skin increases procollagen synthesis by up to 36 times.

The depth of light penetration (in mm) depends on the wavelength of the color(s) selected for the desired results. Colors are between blue and red, and therefore visible to the naked eye.

Yellow LEDs are used for photorejuvenation, tissue firming and texture, redness and pigmentation spots, radiance and even skin tone.

Blue light LEDs are used in the treatment of skin and seborrheic imperfections for their antiseptic and relaxing effects.

Red light LEDs are used for photodynamic therapy (PDT), tissue repair (wrinkles, fine lines, stretch marks, scars) and hair regeneration.

LED light therapy is therefore a totally natural, non-ablative method of skin rejuvenation. It’s non-invasive, effective and safe, with relaxing effects. It is currently the only technique that can slow down the destruction of collagen while activating its production, with no pain, no social eviction and no side effects.

How often?

The effects of photobiomodulation are progressive and cumulative. Several Esthetic© LED sessions are therefore necessary to optimize results over time. Thereafter, the body will naturally continue to react on its own, stabilizing results.

A course of treatment of 6 to 12 sessions, 2 sessions a week, is recommended.
